Pricing and Class Time
Online Classroom time: 24 hours total, 8-3 hour, or 6- 4 hour scheduled sessions, including 30 days of post-class mentoring (via phone, webconferencing and and e-mail) Each Class is limited to a maximum of 8 Students. Students may request a free retake of this class if needed,at any time during a six month period following this class.
Cost: $695 per person- discounted - normally $795 , including workbook (Copy of Creative Design With Mechanical Desktop) and assignments. Discounts available to training alumni and software purchasers.

Class Description
This class covers part and assembly modeling in Autodesk Mechanical Desktop 2008 and prevous versions. Basic understanding of drawings and presentations is included in the class. Ample time is available for question and answers every session.

Prerequisites/Student Participation:

  • Familiarity with drafting principles is recommended.
  • Working knowledge of Windows user interface, commands and file structure is highly recommended.
  • Student interaction during class is expected.
  • Completion of assignments is required for certificate.

Hardware/Software Requirements:

  • Properly configured CAD System with Windows 2000, XP, or Vista (with compatible Autodesk software)
  • Sound card and speakers or optional headset for bidirectional voice communication. No telephone call-in required.
  • Internet Access (DSL, Cable, FIOS on other Broadband Access is recommended, 56K modem not recommended, but may be used).
  • 1280x1024 Full color resolution or higher, recommended, 1024x768 minimum. Preferences: 17" or larger monitor.
  • Optionally, dual monitors will provide the best experience, your Inventor session on one monitor, the course on a second monitor.
  • Full Installation of Inventor 2008 Suite or Inventor Release 11 Standard, properly configured. Pro versions acceptable.
  • Version compatible Mechanical Desktop also recommended.
  • Microsoft Office or Microsoft Excel is required for full functionality.
